Fire Dance is a compact Redtwig Dogwood cultivar that has a rounded, multi-stemmed growth habit. Small white flowers bloom in spring, and develop into white berries in late summer-early fall. The green leaves turns to reddish- burgundy in the fall. Young stems are bright red, and are often used fo ornamental pot fillers in winter and festive season.
This dogwood prefers full sun and moist soil conditions. Prune back older stems in the late fall to increase young stems for best growth and color.
